The world-class skiing and unique beauty of the Italian Dolomites are no secret - but beginning today they will be the focus of a transfixed global audience as the the 2026 Winter Olympics are launched to much pent-up fanfare. Officially the XXV Winter Olympic Games, and commonly known as Milano Cortina 2026, this international multi-sport event takes place from February 6 - 22 at sites across the regions of Lombardy and Northeast Italy.
