A few moments from The Cloth Room in Paris.
I feel like I suck at remembering to take photos these days, so please excuse this rather random collection. Somewhere between running a showroom, catching up with people and watching baby Chloe on the baby cam, I forgot to document so many of the moments that made Paris so special.
It was so good to see Sae Miyata again and watch quitan continue to evolve. Catching up with was another highlight. We inevitably ending up talking about the giant Louis Vuitton wave that had appeared across the city that week.
Seeing again for the first time since before the pandemic was pretty special too. Before long we were swapping notes on mum life. I also had one of those conversations over Thai food in the Marais with Yuki Matsuda that somehow started with AI and wandered off in a dozen different directions.
By complete chance, my sister Pia , brother-in-law Richie, my nieces Eloise and Yvette, and my youngest nephew Hugo were all in Paris while celebrating a milestone birthday trip through Europe. Our dates happened to overlap, which meant I got to steal a little time with them—and even rope them into helping bring The Cloth Room together.
One of my favourite evenings was spent with Matt indi + ash and his mum, Christine Alcalay® Designer + Boutique Owner and at La Grande Mosquée de Paris. It’s funny how these trips become about so much more than appointments—they become about the people.
It was my first season back in Paris since becoming a mum. Coming home, I couldn’t believe how much Chloe had changed in just twelve days, but Aran absolutely nailed dad duty. That last photo says it all.
Thank you to everyone who came by The Cloth Room. So many of the best moments never made it into these photos, but I’m grateful for every conversation, every catch-up and everyone who walked through the door.
