ดิ โอลิฟาน เดนิม ก่อตั้งเมื่อปี 2014 โดยแนวทางของแบรนด์ตั้งแต่แรกเริ่มคือสายการผลิตงาน Workwear vintage
ซึ่งจะใช้แพทเทิร์นและดีเทลของเสื้อผ้าในยุคเก่ามาผลิตเป็นเสื้อผ้ารูปแบบในสมัยปัจจุบัน ทำให้ยังได้กลิ่นอายความเป็นวินเทจที่ร่วมสมัย
สินค้าของทางแบรนด์ของแต่ละล็อตจะมีจุดเด่นที่ไม่เหมือนกัน ซึ่งถ้าท่านใดติดตามทางแบรนด์จะมองออกทันทีจากภายนอกว่าสินค้าตัวนี้เป้นสินค้าตัวไหนของทางแบรนด์
โดยสินค้าแต่ละล็อตจะเปิดเป็น Preorder Made to order ผลิตน้อย ผลิตรอบเดียวและไม่ได้ผลิตซ้ำ
สินค้าหลักของทางแบรนด์จะเน้นผ้ายีนส์ดิบเป็นหลัก (Raw denim) ซึ่งจะมีทั้ง เสื้อแจ็คเก็ตยีนส์ , กางเกงยีนส์ ,กระเป๋ายีนส์ , หมวกยีนส์ เป็นต้น
The orifant denim อ่านว่า ดิ-โอ-ลิ-ฟาน-เด- นิม คำว่า orifant เป็นภาษาพื้นเมืองของชนเผ่าแอฟฟริกา ซึ่งเป็นภาษาที่เก่าแก่อันดับต้นๆของโลก
แปลว่า ช้าง ความตั้งใจแรกเริ่มที่ก่อตั้งแบรนด์คือ อยากจะสื่อถึงความเป็นไทยในตัวเอง ซึ่งช้างเป็นสัตว์ที่อยู่คู่บ้านคู่เมืองของไทยมานานและเป็นสัญลักษณ์ประจำชาติ เราจึงได้นำ ช้าง มาเป็นมัสคอตประจำแบรนด์
และจึงได้ออกแบบโลโก้แนว geometric รูปช้าง ซึ่งมีความเป็นยุคสมัยใหม่เข้าไป จึงได้ออกมาเป็นโลโก้ที่เพื่อนๆเห็นในปัจจุบัน
