Ayānā — The Asymmetric Wrap Cropped Top
Some pieces stay with you.
Ayānā is one of my favorites to date. I love her for the way she feels almost architectural; intentional lines, balanced asymmetry, and construction that feels sculpted rather than sewn.
The thin straps that wrap around the body were designed to echo the way a traditional sari is draped and secured; fluid, feminine, and powerful in its simplicity.
She’s structured.
She’s movement.
She’s heritage interpreted through a contemporary lens.
And every time I see her, I’m reminded why I design.
