This was our first snow.
Our first real winter.
Our first trip — just the two of us.
Under the white skies of Niseko, we laughed like kids seeing snow for the first time.
Through the quiet streets of Otaru, we walked with freezing hands but warm hearts.
We chased views from Mount Usu,
stood in awe of Mount Yotei,
and watched the still waters of Lake Toya and Lake Shikotsu reflect a version of us that felt braver.
We were tired.
Sleep-deprived.
Running on convenience store meals and pure excitement.
But we were happy.
Because somewhere between missed sleep, long bus rides, and snowy mornings in Hokkaido —
we realized this is what building a life together feels like.
Cold hands.
Full hearts.
Unforgettable firsts. 🤍❄️
