I’m taking advantage of the release of my new pattern, the Meadow sweater, to focus on cables.
I remember when I first started knitting, I was fascinated by cables. I could only think about that. It seemed incredible to be able to create such volume with needles and yarn. I didn’t have a cable needle, too impatient, so I used a small hair clip instead. It wasn’t very practical, but for a test it was enough!
In the end, cables aren’t that difficult, and the result is always magical. A guaranteed hand-knit look!

Je profite de la sortie de mon nouveau patron le pull Meadow pour vous faire un focus sur les torsades.
Je me souviens, quand j'ai commencé le tricot j'étais comme fascinée par les torsades. Je n'avais que ça en tête. Cela me semblait incroyable de pouvoir dessiner des volumes comme cela avec des aiguilles et du fil. Je n'avais pas d'aiguilles à torsades, trop pressée j'avais fait ça avec une petite barrette à cheveux. Ce n'était pas le plus pratique mais pour un test c'était suffisant !
Finalement, les torsades, ce n'est pas si difficile, et le rendu est toujours magique. Effet tricot-main garanti !
