WE BROUGHT IT HOME! 🇲🇦♥️

Today we officially picked up our customized food trailer and brought it home! 🥹 Seeing the finished trailer, hooking it up to our truck, and actually driving away with it made everything suddenly feel VERY real! We are beyond excited 🤗

Months of planning, saving, recipe testing, paperwork, decisions, nerves and excitement are starting to come together. Now the real work begins 😍

We’ll be spending the next few weeks painting our food trailer, going through all the inspections, finalizing the menu and preparing for our ULTIMATE GRAND OPENING 🇲🇦

Oh...and we also need to add "learn how to back up a food trailer" to that list because getting this thing into our driveway took us almost TWO HOURS, YES, TWO HOURS 😂😭

✨️ Shall we go on a tour of Morocco together? ✨️

Morocco is a country with deeply vibrant colors and a very long history. Going back further than the Roman Empire! It's gone by various names but modern Morocco is still home to ancient archeological sites and generations of traditions. A living time capsule of what came before 💕.

Attached to this post is a glimpse of the Chellah Castle, an old archeological site that has been home to civilizations for over 2,000 years, the Atlantic Ocean in Rabat, the traditional medina of Rabat known as Old Town, as well as some Moroccan sweets that we enjoyed a lot 😋.

Hi everyone!! We wanted to share our story with you all since we have some new followers now!

So here we go, our story ✨♥️🇲🇦🇺🇸

The Story started with two people from different parts of the world. My name is Samir, and I am from Morocco. My wife's name is Katie, and she is from the United States!

We were penpals for over a year, before eventually meeting in person, getting engaged in France, and getting married in the Redwoods, California 🌳🌲💍♥️

We are both FOODIES and we love to cook for one another. What began in our kitchen slowly turned into something more. From ideas, simple conversations to planning and testing recipes over and over again! 😋

And NOW, it is real! We are officially getting everything ready to launch our food trailer, sharing Moroccan Street Food with an American Twist with all of you, in Albuquerque, New Mexico! 🇲🇦🇺🇸
