One of the biggest misunderstandings about manufacturing is thinking production problems start in production.

In reality, most issues begin much earlier through rushed development, unclear construction decisions, unrealistic timelines, or garments that were never properly tested before sampling.

Another common misconception is that factories simply “make clothes.” Strong manufacturing requires constant problem solving, technical adjustments, pattern refinement, fabric understanding, and quality control throughout the entire process.

Even small details that seem insignificant can completely affect how a garment fits, stretches, performs, or holds up over time.

Good production is rarely about working fast. It is usually about making the right decisions early.

Fit is one of the most important parts of garment development and often one of the most overlooked.

A strong fit can elevate even the simplest design, while poor fit can completely change how a garment looks, feels, and performs on the body.

Behind every well fitting piece is a process of pattern making, testing, adjustments, and refinement.
