Some days we spend so much time worrying about the entire journey that we forget the power of one small step. Life can feel overwhelming when we’re focused on every challenge ahead, every obstacle, and every uncertainty.

But the people who keep moving forward aren’t the ones who have everything figured out. They’re the ones who simply decide to take the next step.

Today, give yourself permission to stop trying to solve everything at once. Trust that the path becomes clearer as you walk it. One step. One choice. One moment at a time.

Some days remind you exactly why you started. Today was one of those days.

Months ago, “Together, We Fight With Them” was just an idea. An idea that children facing cancer deserved reminders that they are stronger than their hardest days. An idea that our community could come together and show these brave fighters they are not alone.

Today, that idea became reality.

Seventy sponsored bags filled with mindset gifts were delivered to the incredible children at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo (formerly known as Oishei.) What began as a simple vision grew into a community movement powered by local businesses, generous individuals, and people who chose to make a difference in a child’s life.

As I watched the bags being delivered, I couldn’t help but think about every sponsor who said yes, every donation that came in, every late night spent planning, organizing, and believing this could happen. Each bag represented more than gifts… it represented hope, encouragement, and a reminder that an entire community is standing beside these children and their families.

One of the most meaningful parts of today was having my twin boys by my side. They were able to witness firsthand what happens when people choose kindness, generosity, and service. They saw that making a difference doesn’t always require grand gestures. Sometimes it starts with simply caring enough to take action.

There were smiles. There were emotions. There were moments that will stay with me forever.

To every sponsor, donor, supporter, and person who shared this mission: thank you. This initiative belongs to all of us. Together, we showed these children that even in the toughest battles, they have an army behind them.

This is not the end of the story; it’s just the beginning.

A finalized video capturing today’s special delivery, journey and the impact of this initiative will be shared soon. Until then, know that your support helped place a little more hope, courage, and strength into the hands of children who need it most.

Tonight feels different.

As I sit here reflecting, I can’t help but think about how many hearts came together to make this moment possible. Months ago, the “Together, We Fight With Them” initiative was just an idea… a hope that we could remind children battling cancer that they are not fighting alone. Tomorrow, that hope becomes reality.

The names printed proudly on my back represent more than sponsors. They represent compassion. They represent people and businesses who chose to step forward and say, “We want to make a difference.” Because of their generosity, 70 totes filled with mindset gifts will be delivered to Golisano Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, each one carrying encouragement, strength, and reminders of hope for children facing some of life’s hardest battles.

Every tote tells a story. A story of a community that cares. A story of strangers coming together to bring light into dark moments. A story that says, “We see you. We believe in you. We are fighting with you.”

Tomorrow will be even more meaningful because my 11-year-old twin boys will be standing beside me. They’ll witness firsthand what happens when people choose kindness over convenience and action over words. They’ll see that changing lives doesn’t always require grand gestures; it starts with caring enough to do something. My greatest hope is that this experience plants a seed in their hearts, one that grows into a lifetime of serving others and making a difference in the world around them.

Tonight, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. For every sponsor. Every donation. Every share. Every encouraging message. Every person who believed in this mission.

Tomorrow, we deliver more than bags.

We deliver hope.
We deliver encouragement.

The remaining funds from the fundraiser lies within this envelope made out to The Children’s Hospital of Buffalo Foundation.

Every penny was spent to help these kids and their mindset. The remaining $167.49 is going to be donated directly to the Foundation.

The impact isn’t in the monetary value on the check… it’s within the 70 mindset packages the cancer fighting kids will receive on Monday!
