Today's Reading: Genesis 2:15-3:24 (Work and rest in Eden, the temptation, sin's entry, and consequences)

A Moment to Read & Reflect:

Read how God places Adam in the garden to work it and keep it, forms Eve as a helper, and then watch the serpent tempt, sin enter, and God respond with both justice and mercy. Notice the heartbreaking shift from "very good" to shame, blame, and brokenness—but also God's first promise of redemption.

Key Takeaway:

Sin breaks everything: our relationship with God, each other, and creation itself. Yet even in the curse, God's grace shines through—He clothes Adam and Eve, shows mercy instead of immediate destruction, and hints at future victory over evil.

Question for Today:

Where do you see yourself in this story?

The longing for good like Adam and Eve, the temptation, the hiding in shame, or God's pursuing grace?

How does it hit you that sin's consequences still affect us today, but so does God's promise to make things right?

If you're exploring faith:

What feels true or confusing about this explanation of why the world is broken?

Let us Pray:

"God, thank You for not abandoning us in our mess. Forgive where I've chosen my way over Yours, and help me trust Your grace to cover and restore. Amen."

Today's Reading: Genesis 1:1-2:3
(The Creation Account – 6 days of creation + Sabbath rest)

A Moment to Read & Reflect:

Take time to read these verses slowly. Notice how God speaks everything into existence—light, sky, land, plants, animals, and finally humanity made in His image. Pay special attention to the rhythm of "And God saw that it was good" and the seventh day rest.

Key Takeaway:

God is the powerful Creator who brings order out of chaos, beauty out of nothing, and purpose to everything He makes—including you. The world didn't happen by accident; it was intentionally designed by a good God who declared it "very good."

Question for Today:

What part of creation stands out to you most?

Why do you think God made that thing?

How does knowing you are made "in the image of God" (Gen 1:26-27) change how you see yourself or others today?

If you're new to the Bible or exploring faith:

What surprises you about this account of how everything began?

Let's end in Prayer:

"God, thank You for creating me with intention and purpose. Help me see YOUR goodness in the world around me today and rest in the truth that You are in control. Amen."

The story of the Wise Men after Jesus was born is an incredible reminder of God’s foreknowledge and perfect timing. 🌟

We don’t know much about them — but what we *do* know is amazing 👇

- The Magi weren’t kings 👑 — they were elite scholars from Babylon/Persia, trained in astronomy and prophecy.
- Their wisdom traced back to Daniel — the very Daniel who once led the wise men in Babylon!
- The *only* reason they knew to come was because of Daniel’s prophecy.
- In Daniel 9, God gave a timeline for when the Messiah would come — down to the year.
- They weren’t guessing… they were *watching the skies* because they believed God’s Word.
- God used what they understood — the stars — to guide them straight to Jesus. ✨
- The star wasn’t pagan astrology; it was divine direction for seekers searching for the Savior.
- When they found Him, they didn’t just see a baby — they saw *a King*. “Born King of the Jews.” 👑
- Their gifts told the story: **Gold** for His kingship, **Frankincense** for His divinity, and **Myrrh** for His death and sacrifice.
- Think about this — the *first people to worship Jesus* were Gentiles. People outside of Israel. Outsiders were bowing to Christ before many insiders even noticed He’d come! 🙏

Nothing in this story was accidental. The star, the timing, even their journey — all of it was part of God’s plan, set in motion over 600 years before that night in Bethlehem. 📖

✨ God’s timing is always perfect — and what He promises, He fulfills. ✨

If this story stirs your faith or reminds you of how detailed God’s plan is, take a second to **share** it so others can see that nothing in God’s plan happens by accident. 💫

When Jesus is feeding the 5000, he only had 7 loaves of bread and a few fish. He took it, blessed it and gave thanks. He then gave the food to the disciples to pass out and feed everyone and even had some left over from the little food.

Did yall catch that ? Jesus gave thanks for " not enough"

The not enough food turned into we have way too much food.

I think i will start thanking God for my not enough

When the Bible calls something a sin, our response is not to justify it or twist Scripture to fit our way of thinking. We are called to turn from it and walk in obedience to God. His Word is the ultimate authority, and His truth does not change to match our opinions.

We must remember — this is God’s world, not ours. We’re only here for a time, and it’s our responsibility to live by His rules, not our own.

One day, every one of us will stand before Him. His judgment will be final, righteous, and true.

— Revelation 20:11–15 (NIV)

Daily Reflection 😔 ✨️

May we daily choose repentance over pride, obedience over opinion, and truth over comfort. God’s Word will always stand — our hearts must be the ones that change.

Let us pray 🙏 🤲

Lord, help me to walk in Your truth, not my own. Give me the humility to turn from sin and the courage to live by Your Word. Teach me to honor Your authority in all I say and do. Amen.
