Unlike mechanical reproductions or digital copies, a hand-pulled serigraph is considered an original, limited-edition work of art approved and signed by the artist, who applies only one color at a time using a separate stencil and mesh screen for each hue. Elton Bennett (1910-1974) was a lifelong native of Grays Harbor, and is a beloved artist in the PNW. This serigraph is called "Plant Forms", and it features crisp lines and earth tone hues. Made in the USA by Whiting and Davis, this 1970's era metal mesh bag features tortoise print enameling on the exterior, two brass drawstring chains, and is lined with a copper colored satin.
