✨ Hi there! Welcome to Pecks and Purls! ✨
If you are new here, my name is Kayla and I am the hands and heart behind this cozy corner of handmade knitwear. 🧶💖 I grew up in Anoka, Minnesota, (fun fact: It's the Halloween Capital of the World!) and still live in this neck of the woods with my best furry friend, Oliver, my Biewer Yorkie! I always say I am born to live somewhere else because I am chronically cold, but cold weather + knitting warm hats is a pretty good pairing so maybe I will stick around!
Here are some fun facts about me:
1. I worked at Starbucks for 5 years, but I was probably the slowest barista because I wanted every drink to be beautiful!
2. In what feels now like a past life, I went to school for vocal performance, and debuted an EP called "Set Me Free." One problem though: I have terrible stage fright! 😬
3. Based on my addiction to New York Times crossword puzzles, black coffee, love for listening to the radio, and early bedtime, I could probably qualify for the senior citizen discount.
