Merry Christmas!🎄
Caleb got a big boy bed and some remote control monster trucks, Carter finally got his Christmas wish of a globe, and we need to have a talk with Santa about our “no throwing balls in the house” rule! 🎅🏼 He brought the boys a basketball “shooty-thing” that will definitely need to be moved to the garage unless we want some broken windows and light fixtures!
We are thankful for the blessings of gift-giving today and also to God for sending His Son to rescue us from our sins!

🧺 A perspective on laundry:
Last night, I made it to the bottom of my boys’ laundry hamper when I started a load before bed!🙌🏻
This morning, when I moved the clothes into the dryer, there were already more clothes in the hamper! I started complaining mentally about how the laundry never ends and how do they go through so many clothes… and then I stopped myself.

I took a breath and started thanking God for them and for their healthy bodies that keep growing. I’m thankful for Caleb’s sense of adventure and how he is the one most likely to get a hole in his pants. I’m thankful for Carter’s unwavering love of the Texas Rangers ⚾️ and the fact that he has 26 Rangers shirts. I’m choosing to give thanks for the laundry today!
