Handcrafted from Horween football leather and finished with solid brass hardware, this belt carries the same unmistakable pebble grain and rugged character associated with the game itself.
Horween’s connection to professional football dates back to the 1940s, when Chicago Bears founder George Halas approached Arnold Horween about developing a better leather for the NFL football. Arnold developed Horween’s proprietary Tanned in Tack® process, engineered to retain the leather’s pebble texture and improve grip. Since the 1950s, Horween has supplied the leather used by Wilson for the NFL’s official game football, “The Duke,” which is still made from 100% Horween leather today.
