I believe personal style should be fun at every age. Some days I’m feeling a little edgy, other days feminine and flowy. And sometimes I just want an excuse to wear fabulous boots.

Your closet called. It would like you to stop accusing it of having nothing to wear.

Before you buy another outfit, try shopping your own closet.

Pull out something you love but haven’t worn in forever. Pair it with something unexpected. Add a little personality with jewelry, a scarf, or a fun accessory.

Sometimes the problem isn’t your wardrobe. It’s that you’ve gotten stuck wearing everything the same way.

And here’s your reminder: Your style doesn’t have to look like it did five years ago. You’re allowed to change. Your wardrobe can change with you.

A thrifted accessory. A different way to style something you already own. One little change that makes your space feel more like YOU.

All I wanted was a cute little video of myself in Chicago.

Apparently, Bill thought I meant an architectural documentary.

To be fair, the buildings ARE pretty impressive. But sir, your wife is down here. 😂

Please tell me I’m not the only one married to someone who completely misses the photography assignment.

Hills I’ll die on as a 49-year-old who stopped dressing, decorating, and living for everyone else.

1. Your home doesn’t need to look like everyone else’s. It needs to feel like YOU.
2. There is no expiration date on personal style. Wear the bright colors, the statement jewelry, and whatever makes you happy.
3. Thrifting isn’t just about saving money. Sometimes the best pieces are the ones nobody else wanted.
4. Reinventing yourself at 40, 50, or 60 isn’t a crisis. It’s realizing you still have a whole lot of living left to do.
5. You don’t need anyone’s permission to change your mind, your style, your home, or your life.

And here’s my biggest hill: Life is too short to spend it trying to be someone you’re not.

Apparently, even Toothpick can’t take a vacation without finding a little inspiration! 🦙😂💕

From Chicago’s gorgeous architecture to the cutest miniature gallery wall, bright pink finds (obviously! 💗), a fish platter that SCREAMED Leah 🐟, and a DIY hat bar that has my creative wheels turning!

Turns out, inspiration really is everywhere when you know where to look. ✨
