Today, I want to share something deeply personal. I live by the motto "Say What's Real" so I think it's important we talk about the real stuff, the tough stuff. 🗣️

Depression is a battle I face every day. Sometimes, no matter what I do, it feels like it's never enough. Being a black father in America comes with its own set of challenges, and there are days when I feel let down by the weight of it all. 🌧️

In these moments, I turn to the Father for guidance and strength. His words are the beacon that guides me through the fog. And you know what? It helps, more than I can express.

Scripture of the Day: Hebrews 12:1-13.

It's a powerful reminder that we're surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, encouraging us to run with perseverance the race marked out for us, looking to Jesus as our ultimate guide and strength.

Today's Scripture is also a reminder that we're not alone in our struggles. It’s a call to support and uplift each other. So, I urge you – check on your friends, your family, your community. Sometimes, a simple word or gesture can be the lift someone desperately needs. 🤝
