Top Liner Spray-On Bedliner joins Ben Maier, LowCountry Motorsports for 2026 season
CONCORD, N.C. (Feb. 10, 2026) – As part of his new relationship with LowCountry Motorsports, reigning zMAX CARS Pro Late Model Tour champion Ben Maier is bringing a sponsor with him to the burgeoning program.
Top Liner Spray-On Bedliner, known for their tough and reliable protective coating technology, is set to sponsor Maier for several races with LowCountry this season. Maier will carry Top Liner branding with both a black and a white scheme on LowCountry’s No. 67, a number that Maier has used throughout his career so far.
It was during Maier’s second career NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval last season where Top Liner sponsored him for the first time. Maier is grateful to have Top Liner continue supporting his racing endeavors and hopes to deliver them and LowCountry plenty of victories in 2026.
“Without [Top Liner], this wouldn’t be possible,” Maier said. “I think they are doing a good thing by helping me out and other people out in the Truck Series. I’m super excited to be running with them. LowCountry [Motorsports] figured their stuff out last year, so I think [everything] is going to go pretty good.”
Chemist Claudio Burtin was the one who created the original Spray-On Bedliner formula for Top Liner back in 1987. Burtin’s idea set a standard that would see Top Liner’s protective coatings be applied for a variety of demanding situations, whether that involves heavy-duty trucks or equipment used by the military.
Top Liner prides itself particularly on transforming a truck’s vulnerable cargo area into a fortress against degradation. The tough, textured finish provided by Top Liner’s Spray-On Bedliner offers high performance while protecting the cargo area from scratches, dents and harsh weather conditions, all while sealing out rust and spills.
Outside of their relationship with Maier, Top Liner has maintained a notable presence in motorsports by sponsoring Trans Am Series driver Adam Andretti, nephew of 1969 Indianapolis 500 winner Mario Andretti. The company has visited Victory Lane in Trans Am twice with Adam, a trend they look to continue with Maier.
LowCountry Motorsports co-owner A.J. Frank knows that Top Liner’s endorsement of Maier is going to pay off for everyone involved. Frank saw firsthand the talent Maier possessed throughout the 2025 PLM Tour season and emphasized the importance of ensuring prospects like him have the necessary resources to excel in motorsports.
Now that Top Liner is joining LowCountry for 2026 alongside Maier, Frank is even more optimistic about his program’s first full-time Pro Late Model campaign being a successful one.
“Anytime you get corporate involvement with your race team, it’s a big deal,” Frank said. “We are excited to welcome [Top Liner] aboard primarily because of their support of Ben [Maier]. With Ben being the CARS Tour champion, we want to help him continue fostering that relationship with Top Liner going forward.”
Top Liner and Maier will formally kick off their new partnership with LowCountry during the Hart to Heart Pro Late Model 100 at New Smyrna Speedway on Feb. 12, which is part of the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. FloRacing is providing live coverage during the nine-day event, including the Hart to Heart Pro Late Model 100.
