I received the nickname when I was pregnant with my first child. I love quilting. I love fabric. All quilters and seamstresses know how hard it is to pass up a piece of fabric. I have been sewing for over 30 years. I began with clothing and moved on to quilts about 15 years ago. In my years of sewing, I have made prom dresses, men’s suits, wool coats, bridesmaid dresses, and almost every type of d

aily wear clothing. Around the home, I have sewn pillow covers and window treatments. My love is quilting. Please take a look at my quilt gallery to see my handiwork. I mostly piece and quilt on the machine. I have completed many crafts by hand – cross stitch, needlepoint, and some quilt hand piecing. T-shirt quilts are a charming keepsake for any age. I love to collect and arrange t-shirts and fabric. I love a versatile quilt, so I use more than one fabric when possible, and often throw in some quilt squares or arrangements to diversify and liven up the quilt. I find that most t-shirt quilts are made to be used, not displayed. It is for this reason that I machine quilt each t-shirt and all the fabric and sashing surrounding the t-shirt blocks.
