It started with a best can-holder themed kickball party to which I had no really cool can-holder. I searched all over the internet looking for the right one that was fun and functional. Most of the ones I found were cheap novelties or they didn't seem to be practical. As I started to determine what kind of holder I wanted, I quickly found that there wasn't anything like it. I wanted it to be easy

to remove and reliable...like your favorite pair of underwear. I had some rare earth magnets that I stole from another project and put one in the belt and one into a holder. After a few trial and errors through the local bars, I found the right placement for the magnets and holder. After testing several prototypes and spilling drinks, the Beering-Aid was born.
