A Wish For Matthew: 25% of all orders placed that include this bracelet will be donated to Matthew’s recovery.
On March 6,2020 Mathew was involved in a UTV accident. There were three other people in with him. While they were out looking at some property going about 20 mph. They came up on roughly a 4 foot deep wash out. This caused the UTV(side by side)to nose dive and make an immediate stop. Mathew took the worst of the impact by hitting the front seat and the metal bar with the side of his face.He was airlifted from Alabama to UF Shands trauma unit after being stabilized at the local hospital.Within a few hours of getting to Shands they did surgery to wire his broken jaw. The surgeon said it was the worst break he had seen literally hanging in the back of his throat. They had to do plastic surgery to the lower part of his chin to take care of the needed repair there. He had a second surgery yesterday to complete the jaw which required two metal plates to be put in. He will require some dental implants in 6-10 months as well and possibly braces to help with the alignment of the jaw.He is currently in a tremendous amount of pain. To make matters worse the hospital scratched his cornea on this second surgery. No one is sure how that happened??So he has not been able to work since the accident. Leaving his wife as the only income and now with the Corona Virus her dental office has been mandated to close until possibly May. So at this point they have no income coming in right now at all. This is not a place anyone ever wants to be in nor have to ask for help. But having small children and household bills .This young family has no choice but to ask for any help they can get. This fund raising is just to help out until they can get Mathew recovered and back to work and getting some money coming back in. Any donation will be appreciated more than you will ever know. Prayers for Mathew to make a full recovery are appreciated.
