Organized Chaos. Space heater needed today in “my own little corner, in my own little chair,” as my lovely little workspace is over the garage. Yes, I know 40 degrees is not that cold. It is for me anymore now that I have been in the South now for more than 15 years.
Regardless, today I finally got some badly needed “get back to me” time in my room. Productivity was low but being amid all of the colors, textures, motivators for visions to become real. Things seen in the minds eye ready to be translated into the 3 dimensional world.
Of course, my minion, is always present. Just give him a warm spot, a treat, make eye contact, and talk to him once in a while and we’re good for hours.
I often wish I had nicer storage systems, but if things were hidden I don’t know if I would be as mentally stimulated.
Creative processes are individual I guess. In other parts of my life I like things neat and out of sight. Not here. I also could use an inspiration board. Maybe that could replace the visible chaos.
