As I was preparing for a speaking engagement yesterday, I thought about how my presentation to the world has been an added bonus to my work ethic and personality. I’ve always looked the part so it wasn’t hard to be invited to spaces. You would be surprised how far looking put together can take you. You don’t have to buy expensive brands but you do have to put in some effort and care about your appearance. It’s your brand.

👋🏾Allow me to introduce myself…

I am Sherrell Leslie, owner of Etre Chic Boutique, a metro ATL based e-commerce women’s clothing store catering to women who love to serve looks but also like to keep it classy.

There are two things that I want to share with you all that I have learned in this journey called life:

1. It’s ok to quit. If it does not serve you, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, financially, physically, quit it. If it is draining you and you’ve tried all sorts of tactics to stay, quit it and do something different.

2. Follow your dreams. If it was placed in your heart to do something, don’t disregard that feeling. Do it. It doesn’t matter if you didn’t do it at 25, you can still do it at 35.
