Today, I’m exhausted… but my heart is FULL. ❤️

I honestly don’t even know where to begin.

After weeks of planning, making calls, asking for donations, coordinating volunteers, moving supplies, solving problems, and trying to make sure every detail came together — today finally happened.

And seeing the community show up made every late night, every stressful moment, and every “how are we going to pull this off?” moment worth it.

Today wasn’t perfect. There were challenges. There were moments I was overwhelmed. But there was also SO much love in that room.

Children smiling with their book bags.
Families receiving supplies they needed.
Volunteers giving their time.
Partners believing in the mission.
People who had never met us before showing up simply because they wanted to help.

That’s what I’ll remember.

As the founder of Survive & Conquer Foundation, moments like today remind me WHY I started this.

I know what it feels like to go through difficult seasons and wonder if anybody sees you, believes in you, or cares.

So if we can be that reminder for someone else — even for one child — then it’s worth it.

To every person who donated, volunteered, partnered, sponsored, shared a post, brought supplies, served food, helped a family, encouraged me, or simply showed up today…

I may be tired tonight, but I’m grateful beyond words.

This is bigger than me.

This is bigger than an event.

This is community. This is purpose. This is the mission.

The Survive and Conquer Foundation Back to School Bash & Drive is happening TODAY, and we are beyond grateful for the opportunity to pour back into our community. 🫶🏾

Today, Jill Lindsey stood at the podium at The King Center with a powerful invitation: come together, show up, and make a difference.

Tomorrow, we continue the mission of Survive and Conquer Foundation Inc. with our Back to School Bash — a day dedicated to reminding our children and families that they are seen, supported, and valued. 🎒✨

Every backpack given, every supply shared, and every connection made is a reminder that when a community comes together, we can create opportunities, inspire confidence, and help our youth walk into the school year prepared to succeed.

Today I had the opportunity to stop by Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Austell and pick up an AMAZING amount of book bags and school supplies for our upcoming Back-to-School Bash! 🎒📚✏️

I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to Word of Faith for continuing to be a true pillar in our community and for standing alongside Survive and Conquer Foundation to make a difference in the lives of local families.

Partnerships like this are what community is all about. When organizations, churches, businesses, and individuals come together, we can create real impact and make sure our children have the resources they need to start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and supported. ❤️

Today was a reminder that real impact begins with collaboration.

I had the privilege of meeting with the administrators at Barack H. Obama Elementary Magnet School of Technology alongside our incredible partners, Hope Enterprise and Gresham Park Christian Church, to begin planning for this holiday season.

Together, we’re working to ensure that 800 students receive Christmas gifts this year while also connecting families with resources that extend far beyond the holidays. Our goal isn’t just to create a memorable Christmas—it’s to build lasting relationships and provide support that strengthens our community year-round.

When nonprofits, schools, faith organizations, and community partners come together, lives are changed.

Thank you to everyone committed to making this vision a reality. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to serve these amazing students and their families.

You can't heal trauma with words alone. Sometimes, you need practical tools to build a stable future.

That's why our life skills training is at the heart of what we do at Survive and Conquer. We teach young adults what they didn't learn in school or at home:

📌 Budgeting & financial basics : so they can manage their first paycheck
📌 Job readiness : resume writing, interview skills, workplace etiquette
📌 Conflict resolution : handling disagreements without violence
📌 Time management : building discipline and routine

When a young person learns how to pay their first bill or land their first job, something shifts. They realize: "I CAN do this. I AM capable."

That's the moment survival turns into conquering.
