You can’t conquer the climb if your brother is stuck in the valley.

1. Identify the Shield.
Ask yourself: What is this anger protecting? Usually, it’s fear, disappointment, or a wound that hasn’t healed.

2. Master the Pause.
Breathing isn’t just for peace; it’s for power. Give yourself 10 seconds to regulate before you respond. Discipline starts in the silence.

3. Speak the Truth.
Trade the aggression for transparency. Saying “I’m hurt” or “I feel disrespected” is a higher form of strength than raising your voice.
