About me: I have been crocheting for 12 years! I started in 2013 when I needed a hobby. I learned basics off of YouTube and it took a while to figure out how to read patterns. I made simple things like headbands and quickly dove into more. That year was one of the most difficult years of my life. Heartbreak and tragedy. I used crochet as an outlet. I could take my mind to counting stitches and the joy of making something for someone else. It really saved my life in such a devastating time! I poured my broken heart into these projects.
I continued to improve my skills over the years and use crochet to help me through the good and especially bad times. When I say there is love in every project. I genuinely mean it! The joy I get from making the projects flows into my work.
I now can and will do any crochet project I am challenged with and even make my own patterns. The same still remains. Love is poured into everything I make and it always will. The joy I get from making a project is the joy people feel from receiving it. I spread the love ❤️
Today, my life is a lot different. I am in recovery and crochet means even more to me now. You betcha the love is there! 🥰
I use crochet as a form of meditation in my daily practices and have inspired others to pick up their hooks again. I have bonded with people just for sharing my crochet. The power to bring joy lights up my soul and I just can't be more grateful for this wonderful hobby turning into something indescribable and wonderful. My heart is full and possibly full of yarn 😅
I want to thank everyone who has stuck around through my ups and downs! I am very grateful! I look forward to hearing any suggestions on projects or commissioning one for someone. I do repairs, amigurimi (crochet items stuffed with fluff), blankets, toques, headbands, mittens, custom projects, scarves, explicit items, etc. Always happy to make something!
