To say i am excited is a freaking understatement... this has been the most rewarding project & has gotten my through a fu***ng HARD ASS time, i won’t even lie to y’all.. being able to dive into has been a life safer!! (thanks for giving me these tools!!!)

a little for yah! lol I joke and add little there to i guess minimize the size of this project..?! I’m not sure why I do that.. cause it’s HUGE, it’s the biggest project i’ve ever worked on.. most rewarding.. and totally the coolest but THE BIGGEST project to date..

if you have been following me, you know, I have been working one a for & when I signed up for this project.. I honestly thought I would get passed up.. & that was going to be okay, but if chosen this was going to be a big opportunity for some exposure and definitely experience because we all need more of that!

flash forward...I am working on stitching my little squares tother today & I realize.. I’m almost there, it’s coming together & holy s**t.. im it’s looking good! Its looking how it should! All those anxieties I had while making those little squares where for not because look.. it’s turning into something! 😇

so, this might not much now.. BUT, what you see here is the back panel (finished) & the first front panel (almost finished). I hope to have this project completed by mid week and y’all.. the photo shoot is gonna be so much fun 🤩 😉

I’ve been doing a lot of crochet on the go lately.. I love taking it with me & finding any little 5 minutes to get some stitches in, either at the docs office or while they guys are doing my oil change.. air gives me a change to center my self and really take time for myself. That’s something we really all need to do more of in this crazy world.. take time for ourselves. So often we find ourselves doing for others and running ourselves ragged.. but do you ever sit back and say, damn, this drawing is for me or this sandwich is for me.. so today, I crocheted this for me 🥰

let’s be real.. just for a minute.. we all would like to forget our adult problems (even just for a minute). The fun thing about the small business of mine, when I am working on a custom order or building inventory I get to do jus that.. create art and forget my adult problems! It’s the best feeling in the world!!

When I am crocheting (or in the kitchen) everything fades away.. all i see is what is in front of me.. the yarn, my fingers, and the hook.. I can see the yarn weaving around the hook and taking shape, almost like a dance as it weaves knots and creates a beautiful design that I just know will bring someone joy! I am always bittersweet when a project is done.. i have to almost wake up, and see my problems again.. That part is never fun.. but then i start another project 😍

Getting these coasters ready for a listing has been such a process & I am one step closer!! When I first started this little crochet shop of mine I was terrified, honestly, I thought, does anyone even want this stuff.. But then I realized that I am on this journey for me.. and once everyone sees my posts and reads my story, they will understand that this is what I am meant to do.. Crochet. is. my. therapy.

Each coaster measures roughly 3.5 inches square. Color customizable! Limited to four colors. DK worsted weight yarn is the yarn of choice.
