They say smooth seas don’t make skilled sailors, but whew, May has been rough. 🌊

When the Strait of Hormuz closed and air freight prices threatened to literally sink the business, I had to make the toughest call yet: move the May shipment to the ocean. I promised I’d always keep you up to date if anything changed about your delivery, and I always will.

While the cancellations and mean emails are hard not to take to heart, the kindness from so many of you has been the wind in my sails. And when you joked that if he’s coming by sea, he needs a captain’s hat... I couldn’t agree more.

So, here he is. ⚓️ Captain Percy is officially bidding bon voyage. Thank you for waiting for him. ❤️ - Amy

Drop a ⚓️ if you’re on Team Captain Percy or tag a friend who you think would love him! ✨

Insomnia isn’t just about being tired the next day. It impairs how you’re able to function.

This is not medical advice. It’s advice on how to do nothing really well. 😎

1. Spending time outside is known to lower cortisol, reduce blood pressure, slow heart rate and boost serotonin
2. Cold (especially on face and neck) activates the vagus nerve, reduces overstimulation, shifts your body into rest-and-digest, promotes release of norepinephrine (neurotransmitter that increases alertness)
3. Squeeze-and-release of muscles interrupts your muscles tensing naturally when you’re stressed and helps trigger relaxation
4. Patting or hugging a pet can reduce cortisol and provide sensory input to signal safety to the brain.
5. Percy offers multi-sensory input of touch (like patting a dog), temperature (heat or cool the thermal heart pouch), weight (activates sensory receptors to signal safety to the brain).
