This may seem like a small milestone, but to me it's 200 people who have chosen to follow along on this vintage adventure, and that means so much. 💛

This photo was taken yesterday while I was treasure hunting in a small Texas town—doing one of my favorite things: searching for unique, vintage, and antique treasures and helping them find new homes where they'll be loved again.

To everyone who has followed my page, liked a post, shared a treasure, stopped by a live show, made a purchase, or simply cheered me on... thank you. Your support means more than you'll ever know.

I'm excited for what's ahead and can't wait to celebrate 500, 1,000, and beyond with all of you.

🎄🚂 All aboard! Tomorrow is my very first Whatnot Raid Train! 🎄

I'm so excited to be joining the Vintage Christmas in July Raid Train tomorrow!

The train leaves the station at 6:55 AM CST, and I'll be hopping on at 3:00 PM CST for a fun 30-minute show featuring around 50 vintage Christmas treasures—ornaments, figurines, holiday décor, and other festive finds.

It may be July, but Christmas will be here before we know it! If you love vintage holiday décor, now is a great time to start adding those special pieces to your collection before the holiday rush.

Whether you're looking for something nostalgic, a unique gift, or just want to hang out and enjoy the fun, I'd love to see you there! ❤️

✨ Sometimes the greatest treasure isn't what you expected to find.

I recently picked up a 1950s Betty Crocker cookbook from WN, and tucked inside its little recipe pocket was a collection of typed recipes, newspaper clippings, and little pieces of someone's everyday life.

As I flipped through them, I couldn't help but wonder about the person who carefully clipped and saved each one. It even appears the cookbook may have originally come from somewhere in the Northeast before eventually making its way all the way down here to Texas.

After all these years, it's still in beautiful condition—and the memories tucked inside are just as special as the cookbook itself.

This is one of the reasons I love vintage so much. It's not just about collecting old things—it's about preserving the stories they carry.

💛 Feeling incredibly blessed today.

Today the Lord brought a wonderful new friendship into my life. A sweet young woman from my church community reached out after hearing about Cara's Haus of Curios through a mutual friend.

She's in the process of downsizing and generously invited me to come take anything I could use before everything has to be cleared out by the end of the month.

I came home with my 4Runner packed full of amazing treasures, but even more than that, I came home thankful for the blessing of a new friendship.

I can't wait to clean everything up and start sharing these beautiful finds with all of you! 🦋✨

Thank You, Lord, for the unexpected blessings, the open doors, and the wonderful people You bring into our lives. ❤️ Amen! 🙏🏻

Hello vintage lovers and treasure hunters!

🦋 One year ago this month, Cara's Haus of Curios began a brand-new journey reselling on eBay... and I have to share... what started as a simple idea has grown into something I truly love with a passion.

In just one year on eBay:
✨ 271 treasures found new homes
💛 265 wonderful buyers have found new treasure
⭐ 257 five-star positive feedback ratings
📦 Nearly $17,000 in vintage and collectible treasures rehomed

But the numbers only tell part of the story.

This past year has been filled with early morning estate sales, thrift store adventures, late nights photographing and listing, learning, growing, and connecting with so many wonderful people who share a love for vintage.

Just a few months ago, I took another leap and joined the amazing Whatnot community. Going live is completely outside my comfort zone, but it's become one of my favorite parts of this journey. Meeting fellow collectors, chatting during live shows, and helping timeless treasures find new homes has been such a joy.

To every person who has followed my page, purchased a treasure, joined a live show, shared a post, or simply encouraged me along the way... thank you. Your support means more than you know.

🐘 Every one of these elephants reminds me of my grandmother.

She collected elephants and always told me that elephants with their trunks up bring good luck—and that they should always face east.

To this day, I don't know where that tradition came from, but I've never questioned it.

When she passed, I inherited a few of her elephants. Over the years, I've added a few more and have been gifted others. Now they all sit on my office windowsill, trunks up, facing east, where I see them every day.

They remind me that the most meaningful treasures aren't always the rarest or the most valuable...

Sometimes they're simply the ones that keep the people we love close to our hearts. 💛
