Ɲàma Isé-Ọná is the designer label and collection from multidisciplinary artisan and designer Nailah I. Akinyémi-Sankofa. Ɲàma Isé-Ọná specializes in creating one-of-a-kind, limited edition and ethnic-inspired handcrafted dresses, separates, jewelry, knitwear, accessories. outer wear and custom textiles.

Ɲàma Isé-Ọná is a combination of Malinké and Yoruba languages which loosing means [for Nail

ah] "A vessel/container for something sacred and beautifully dangerous and special." The unique and interesting combination of textures, fabric weights and colors are essential signature elements of Ɲàma Isé-Ọná. Not to mention, that the line is designed specifically for petite women (size 0-3 and 4'10" to 5'6") — with a few select pieces for men coming soon.

My CONJURE RELICS Cultural-Arts Workshop have been moved to Saturday, 11 January 2020 from 11:30am-2pm at the Carver Museum.

It's free! Abd the final program in ATX in connection with my exhibition Alaasé: Messages Within the Conjure which closes Saturday, 11 January.

All participants must register in advance on our Eventbrite page by the 10 Jan 6pm CST deadline at: https://conjurerelicsculturalartsworkshop11jan2020.eventbrite.com. No drop-ins. Please only select one of the projects, not both. Thanx!
