Just some of the items I’ll have with me this weekend Waterfront Art Festival! Each bag has been made from start to finish by me in my home studio on Bainbridge Island; including the sewing pattern that I start with. I don’t use pre bought commercial sewing patterns, I draft all of my own designs from start to finish. I also design many of the printed textiles featured in the linings and accessories. My bags are made with water resistant materials that are more durable than leather and can be worn day in and day out, rain or shine and will continue to look new for years to come. Cactus leather is one material so use often in my work, cactus leather is made from the leaves of Nopal Cactus plants. These materials are mixed with eco friendly dyes and backed with heavy duty canvas to create a material that has a leather like feel. They do not crack or peel and are PVC free. I love these materials for their leather like look, while also being durable in our rainy PNW climate. Come see them for yourself this weekend at The Bainbridge Island Waterfront Park, Saturday and Sunday.

One of my personal favorites and a customer favorite. The Twyla Tote in orange/coral with a pop of hot pink. It’s the perfect color combo (in my opinion). Just sent one of these beauties to Portland last week. I think it’s time for me to get mine out of the closet and switch up my bag game from green to => 🩷🧡 for some spring/summer vibes. ☀️

You can’t go wrong with pink flowers. Pink anything really. There was a time where liking pink was uncool, I hope that day never returns. It’s one of the best colors (in my opinion) pretty much ever, next to green. I have this print fully restocked in my online shop right now; this print keeps selling out and it’s one of the very first prints I ever made. Thinking of doing this one in other color ways soon. But pink + orange is really just a straight up good combo. 🩷🧡🩷
