It’s been ages since an introduction from the face behind the business - so how about some fun facts and deep thoughts?!

I spent the majority of my life dancing and moved to NYC when I was 18 to pursue the dream.

I used to have a food blog and was approached by a reality tv firm to have my own cooking/ travel/ brewery show. As you can see, it was not picked up 😂.

I’m obsessed with otters and bees. I used to have an apiary and can’t wait to have one again.

I’m incapable of driving past any number of cows and not screaming “hello friends!”

I’m a recent Baltimore resident and had no idea how much this city and community were exactly what I needed!

And if you’ve made it this far - for the deep stuff. I just celebrated my 45th trip around the sun and it’s definitely sparked the introspective notions. One being that I’ve spent my 40s in the shadows. Living through the lense of worry and fear - about how anything and everything I did or said would be judged or criticized. So afraid of failing, that the laundry list of
goals for myself and this business went undone, as I watched others go for it and achieve what I had dreamed of. I could go on and on about the regrets of the past five years of life and business, but more than it be a pity party, I want to encourage anyone feeling the same. That it’s not too late to start. Life is short and not a dress rehearsal. Do the thing! Do it for yourself. Be yourself so that the people who sing your song can find you! Be bold. Be courageous. Don’t leave your gifts on a shelf. Don’t wait for the day “when.” The day is today. You got this!

As much as I love collecting and selling art, I might like used palettes even more. What hands held them? What paintings did they create? What missteps? What triumphs of color? I will never stop loving and searching for things made by the amazingness that is the human hand and brain.

With that - some amazing pieces ready for new homes. Please scroll to see them all - six total.

Please claim or DM with number and zipcode to calculate shipping - prices do not include shipping. Items ship from Maryland with pirateship for best rates. PayPal and Venmo accepted.

Welcome to a new series called “will it art?” Where the answer to everything is “yes,” the objects vary, and the hope is that you’ll see art in new and unexpected places - everywhere you go!

Enter - the humble door k**b and lock. One of my favorite things about touring old homes is looking at hardware. The way a lock was more stunning at times than the door is sat in - bring it back!

Ramblings aside - today’s flat lay is one of my favorites, and they are all up for grabs.

The kind of piece an entire room could be designed around - this incredible cast iron fireplace surround is one of my all time favorite pieces. With a night and day theme, the lines and details of the sun, torches, log fires on either side, all under a starry night - incredible.

Measuring 30.25x30.25”, outside 20x25.5”.
Pickup in Baltimore. Amazing statement piece. 1199.

One of the things that I love so much about being surrounded by used/old objects and art is that they’ve had a previous life, a story to tell. It’s especially true when it comes to portraits. I’m like a moth to a flame. I don’t know his story, but when I found it years ago I was drawn to the pink shirt, the expression on the face, the size. Finally ready to part with this watercolor on paper. Some pin holes and creases. 23.5x19”. 95 plus ship. Please comment or DM to claim.

By now your feed is likely inundated with end of the year highlight reels. And they’re great! It’s good to celebrate wins. It’s good to cheer on others. But don’t you dare think you’re failing! You’re too late. That your moment, your window for success has passed. You’re right on time. There’s room for you at the table. We need your voice. We need your vision. This is just the beginning.

It’s so tempting to fall into the comparison game. More than ever, I’m trying to let the success, and seeing others doing what I envisioned I’d be doing by now, fuel the fire and add to the notion of possibilities. I hope you do the same. As we close out this year… onward and upward friends!

Happy third day of Christmas! Did I finish the tree?! No. Is it still bringing serious joy?! Yup. Is it staying up for the next month?! Also yes.

The time got away from me and I was still putting ornaments on Christmas morning. No topper, or garland or tinsel - but gives me something to switch up next year. And a push to start it much earlier!

Hope your weekend had been full of pure rest and joy!
,

Wishing you and your families a beautiful day filled with peace, hope, love and of course - vintage! Merry Christmas!
