This is my place for handmade happiness! I crochet, knit, bead, sew and create all kinds of fun things that make me happy and hopefully you too! Hi!

My name is Jenny Lou! I live near the Mississippi river as far south in Iowa as you can go! This isn't a bad place to live but there isn't much for me to do, especially during the winter. Last year I started making little bead motif charms and decided to get my etsy shop going with them. I really enjoy creating and making new things. Last fall I finally forced myself to learn how to knit and then

after finding so many cute amigurumi patterns I learned to crochet too! I try to upload links to some of my etsy items as well as some cool things I find on etsy. I also try to upload plenty of pictures of new items I have made. There are so many talented designers out there, I don't think I will ever get tired of making new things! Plus, I love selling on etsy! It makes me so happy to think one of my little creations put a smile on someone's face! I am always looking for new ideas and inspiration so feel free to share on my page.

This 'I Love The 80s' kit from is too cute, and the colors are a change up from their normal pastels. (I still love the pastels!) It's all about the nostalgia for me, and being born in the early 80s means anything 80s & 90s has a place in my planner. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm on the Shine Sticker Studio PR team for the next 4 months. It's such an honor and a thrill and was such a wonderful surprise!

It's French Fry Day! 🍟 I love a good french fry and I'll definitely be partaking in the celebration. 😂 My favorites are a good crinkle cut dinner fry, waffle fries OR cottage fries. (Cottage fries are near impossible to find where I live. 😭) What's your favorite fry???

It's a very happy week in my catch all! It was one of those weeks I wasn't sure what I wanted to use so I grabbed a newer book and started playing around. The pink and golden yellow is super fresh and happy and I'm hoping it keeps me inspired this week!
Also there's a peek at some birthday goodies that arrived from planner bestie over the weekend. No plan with me for this spread but tomorrow I'll have a new one up so check back!

Happy Independence Day to my planner friends in the US! We stayed home and grilled hot dogs, baked a pie and caught some neighborhood fireworks. ❤️💙 I hope you had a wonderful weekend, wherever you are!

This morning is rainy and gloomy and went by in the blink of an eye, nothing accomplished. I made up this weekend sheet for myself so I can salvage what's left and feel like it wasn't wasted. I intended to be lazy at home all day, but I think we've already decided to get out for some 4th of July fun and food.
I'm fresh off the cutest stitch spread and had to jump back into this sticker book. I see lots more stitch in my planner this summer! Did you pick up this book?

Cute Stickers aren't just for your planner. 😉 We've got lots of strawberry jam jars that needed to be labeled, so I pulled out journaling doodles instead of just writing on there with a sharpie. ❤️
