Thank you for the most wonderful day at the Fayette County Fiber Festival! Even with the storm that rolled in and cut the power in the last hour, we had an absolute blast meeting so many of you and sharing our yarn and inspirations with you. Special thanks to Keri for organizing a wonderful event again, and also for upgrading my booth setup!

Custom colors are always tricky, but I'm so glad to work with wonderful businesses to bring your visions to life!

As always, I’m drawn to the most difficult to capture colors. Blue-greens are notoriously tricky. It films more blue, is definitely more green in person! Here is its true color 💚💙 thank you again, for the custom dye, Chronicles of Cheryl 😍

Fayette County Fiber Festival | Pennsylvania
4th Annual Fayette County Fiber Festival!

Admission and parking are FREE! Market hours will be 10 AM to 4 PM. The vendors will be offering a variety of hand-dyed yarn and fiber, raw fleeces, handcrafted soaps and lotions, bags, stitch markers, pottery, and finished items. We will be collecting non-perishable items for the local food pantry (Connellsville Community Ministries). Please bring a canned good or HBA item to donate.

TOMORROW: Lacey & Genevieve

The 2023 live-action Barbie movie introduced an entire generation to the amazing, colorful world of Barbie, but the real ones know Barbie has a long history of adorable children's animated movies. From Barbie in the Nutcracker, to Barbie of Swan Lake, and the entire Fairytopia franchise, I've easily watched over a dozen in my childhood. The classic story of Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses always stood out with its wonderful message of embracing uniqueness. It's magical world, gorgeous palette, and classical music definitely stick in my mind to this day.

What a wonderful weekend at my first Great Lakes Fiber Show! Thank you for coming out to see us through the Ohio rain. We had such a great time meeting you and sharing our yarn with you.
