Why?
This little hobby of mine has always brought such joy to me. Growing up we didn’t have much money so I was always around thrift stores and yard sales. We would always find the items we needed at the time and sometimes got to pick some things out just for fun. My love for finding thrift store items and turning them into things that we could use followed me into adulthood. I have always taken my kids to thrift stores and taught them how to find real value in items that they found and find a way to put something to use. They have watched me find ugly pieces of furniture and make them new again, string together a Halloween costume or turn an old frame into a new piece of art. The possibilities are endless with a little imagination. Now I have a little bit more free time since the kids have gotten older and thought it would be a fun adventure to try something new. I look forward to them being my assistants once in a while and offering advice on what items we should bring in. I hope you will stop by my new booth and take a look around.
