As promised- one more Richard Scarry jewelry drop!
Your girl has worked her fingers to the bone on this series! (Last for a while because I’m on to my next ideas already!)
First the practical: necklaces are $80- earrings are $20- shipping is $8
Be very specific and provide your email for invoicing.
Messaging alerts me faster than commenting - especially Facebook- Facebook hides comments like Easter eggs it’s wild. -but you can do both!

Specify on earrings if you are choosing 1A chickens or the assortment- otherwise someone might beat you to the pick! I found a ton of chickens since yall loved those- and Lowly!

Materials are old watch part tins, vintage book pages, antique shoe buttons- all meticulously hand punched, connected using cuckoo clock chain and resin sealed.

(Thank you yoga practice for helping save these hand and arm tendons from certain damage. My right hand was so achy this morning before I hit the mat!)

A little Sunday moth meander- be sure to swipe to see all three color ways!

Richard Scarry release 3- I told a friend of mine I could probably make RS pieces my entire personality- but this will be it for some time!
TUESDAY around chicken time again- 4 in the afternoon- (it’s when I’m relaxed in the back yard just hanging with my fluffy ladies and a good time to be phone vigilant.)

SPECI-MEN - because a few of them need to be under glass for analysis….

A Here a Chick oldie but a goodie!
I decided I needed to bring back after listening to 1A on Monday (my favorite two hours of NPR on week day mornings).
The episode was about “masculinism” and a subset of men who don’t think society is man enough and needs MORE man stuff? And their plans to beat their chests and raise the levels of man-ness even higher?

***looks around- gesticulates arms in large dismaying swaths pointing excitedly at all the man things and results there-of**
WHAT?!

There isn’t enough typing space in an Instagram post- so I made earrings and necklaces and got out my biggest magnifying glass instead!

Feel free to mansplain- but let me just insert- no one is talking about the Female Loneliness Epidemic!
Come to the happy side fellas!
We have wine, cheese trays and gales of good laughter- it’s really quite lovely!

Disassociating… I first created this series of earrings in January 2025, as a part of the collection I called Beauty in the Ruins.
The goal was to take a collection of objects- and instead of creating a narrative through associating their perceived meanings- to focus on patina, texture, sizes etc. to create pairings.
It’s really fun for me- a blurring of the inner lens I normally use when focusing on my studio table.

And honestly watching a UFC dome going up on the White House lawn like some sort of Thunderdome out of the Mad Max genre of dystopian apocalyptic futures-
It was a really great time to disassociate again….

These earrings definitely give apocalyptic futurism I think? Or self regulation /coping mechanism?
But honestly super cute am I right? 😂

As long long promised and finally complete!
A collection of pieces using old Richard Scarry books!
I had a little too much fun with these- revisiting old friends. I think one of the funniest parts of reading RS- is that in any given scene of life- someone is having a tough time- and I called a bit cresting the piece of nothing but dismayed faces! 😂

If you keep swiping there is also a collection of beach themed necklaces! In my favorite Here a Chick design- a light swag of tiny tins across the clavicle. This time with adventurous beach goers!

I don’t often like to revisit Stories Past- but a friend of mine got so many compliments on her “In Galleries and Museums” piece- I dove in for a fresh collection.

These are an ode to the soaring ceilings and windows, winding spaces, careful curations- and the perspectives of humans moving through them. There is the interaction with the art- and then also that feeling of moving in the art space- that feels sacred.
The backing up- the leaning in closely to see the details of stroke and form. (Make the staff a little nervous with that lean? Oops)

Breathing rare air.

Just got to experience this last Friday at the High museum in Atlanta- with friends and my daughter- we saw Amy Sherald’s “American Sublime”- and it truly was. Make the trip.
