Can I tell you something nobody talks about enough? 💛

Confidence isn’t something you wake up with one day. It’s something you build — in the quiet moments, the hard seasons, the mornings you show up even when you don’t feel like it.

I know what it’s like to feel invisible. To pour into everyone else — patients, kids, grandkids, family, customers — and have nothing left for yourself. To look in the mirror and not quite recognize the woman looking back.

But I also know what it feels like to start choosing yourself. Even in small ways. A skincare routine that’s just for you. A lip color that makes you stand up a little straighter. An outfit that makes you feel like you again.

It’s not vanity. It’s remembering who you are underneath all the giving.

You’re allowed to feel beautiful. You’re allowed to take up space. You’re allowed to glow — even on the hard days. Especially on the hard days.

Tuesday — Beauty in Real Life

Barn boots on at 6:30a, Coffe in hand and cows checked by 7a. QC nurse mode by 7:30 and somehow my face still looked put together for an 8a zoom meeting.💄🐓🐴🐮

People ask me all the time how I “do it all” — nursing, the boutique, beauty business, being a wife, mom, Grandma. Honestly? Some days I don’t feel put together at all. But my skincare routine is the one five minutes that’s just my little steps I do for ‘Me’ before the world asks anything of me.

I read contracts and charts for a living. I notice things most people scroll right past. So when I tell you what’s actually in what you’re putting on your skin matters to me — I mean it. Not as a sales pitch. As someone who genuinely won’t put junk on my face, just like I wouldn’t approve junk in a process at work.

This is the stuff that stays on through barn chores, long days, and Oklahoma humidity — and still looks like me, not like I’m wearing a mask.

Some weeks God gives you exactly what your soul needed. 🌾✨

Last week I stepped away from this screen and stepped fully into faith and family. A whole week surrounded by my grandkids — the noise, the laughter, the chaos, the pure joy of it all. My cup is full in a way that no to-do list could ever fill.

And while I was away — y’all showed up for me. Orders came in for the boutique and LipSense without me saying a single word. That’s what community does. That’s what God does!! 💞

This is exactly why I do what I do. Not just for the business — but to build something that works even when I need to be Grandma for a while.
