We’ve had this child’s desk for some time and I’ve gradually been adding more and more coasters to the bottom of the legs to make it taller until I decided it was now too low for us all.

First of all I thought we would sell it but then decided that a coat of paint and some new feet would make the desk more useable for us.

My Dad freshened it up giving it a few coats of light grey paint and we bought four door stoppers to act as feet which worked a treat.

The desk is now a perfect height and the colour looks great too 😊

I’ve had this bag of old drawer k***s hanging around for a while waiting for a new purpose but I couldn’t think of how to re-use them.

I decided to have a play and glued a few of them together. We were thinking light pulleys, feet for a desk or table but nothing really worked until I suddenly saw one as a mini darning mushroom!

Can’t wait to try one out, would be ideal for a travelling darner!
