Lapels Laundromat was honored to partner with , Boston Community Hub Schools, , and the Samuel Adams School for a Clothing & Toiletries Giveaway serving families throughout East Boston.
A heartfelt thank you to the volunteers, sponsors, donors, and community partners who helped make this event possible. Together, we provided clothing, personal care items, and support to neighbors in need while strengthening the spirit of the local community.
We are proud to be part of a neighborhood that always comes together to help one another. Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and attended. We look forward to many more opportunities to serve East Boston!

A Hug Worth Its Weight in Gold 💚
Sometimes a simple hug says more than words ever could.

At the East Boston Social Centers Community Baby Shower, 50 new and expecting mothers were welcomed with an incredible outpouring of support from the East Boston community.

When the director saw the hundreds of pounds of baby clothing, blankets, and essentials that had been donated, cleaned, folded, and packaged by Lapels for the event, she was so overwhelmed with gratitude that she gave me a hug I’ll never forget.

That hug belongs to all of you.
It belongs to every person who donated baby clothes and essentials.

It belongs to our amazing Lapels Laundromat family, who spent countless hours washing, drying, folding, sorting, and packaging every item with care.

And it belongs to a community that always steps up when neighbors are in need.
Together, we turned generosity into something tangible for 50 families preparing to welcome a new baby into the world.

Thank you for proving once again that East Boston has one of the biggest hearts anywhere. ❤️
