✨ Hi, I’m Serena — the designer behind Shine by Serena ✨
Figure skating has been my passion since I first stepped onto the ice at six years old. Over the years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to compete as a former Team GB athlete (I’m a dual citizen 🇬🇧🇺🇸) and as a US Figure Skating national competitor. My skating journey has included freestyle, synchronized skating, and ice dance, giving me a deep understanding of what athletes need to feel confident and perform their best.
Long before I started designing skating dresses professionally, I learned how to sew at just 11 years old. What began as a creative hobby eventually grew into something much bigger. In 2023, I started creating and rhinestoning skating dresses for sale, combining my love of skating, design, and craftsmanship.
Today, every Shine by Serena creation is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted using premium fabrics, high-quality European rhinestones, and meticulous attention to detail. I’ve been fortunate to receive training and mentorship from both U.S. and U.K. designers, helping me refine my techniques while developing my own signature style.
My goal is simple: to create unique figure skating dresses and outfits that make skaters feel beautiful, elegant, confident, and ready to shine the moment they step onto the ice. ✨
