Meet Nikki — the creative heart behind A Lil' Loopy! 🧡
From teaching herself to knit and crochet at just 8 years old to designing her own crochet patterns, Nikki's passion for creating shines through in everything she does. And if there's one thing you should know about her... she LOVES dinosaurs! 🦖

It has been a minute and a half since I did a meet the maker post (mostly because I really don't love being in front of the camera). BUT, since there are a lot of new faces here...and I have this absolutely PERFECT tee from YarnMerch ...I thought the timing might be perfect!
I'm Nikki and I am the woman behind A Lil' Loopy! And...if you are new here or may have missed it over the years...I. Love. Dinosaurs.
Here are a few fun facts about me:
🧡 I love Jesus...and America, too.
🩷 Mr. Loopy & I have been married almost 22 years and counting.
🧡 My kiddos are grown and thriving. Being a parent to adult children is a blessing beyond what I ever expected.
🩷 I taught myself to knit and crochet from How-To books when I was 8 years old (1988).
🧡 I wrote my first crochet pattern in 2020.
🩷 When I am not playing with yarn, you can find me tending to The Admiral's every need, gardening, tending to my indoor plants, cooking clean & from scratch for my family, reading, or watching True Crime shows (or Jurassic anything movies).
I'm a simple gal, really.
