I wasn’t great with taking photos this last week of camp, no not all projects are pictured! It seems like momentum built over the summer and we ended up with our largest group so far in the morning session! The kids made three different types of pencil pouches, bookmarks, composition book covers, drawstring bags and reusable snack bags. Thanks to everyone who came to summer camp this year. It was great having so many new sewists attend and I hope we’ll continue to see them throughout the year!

Here are two of the projects we’ll be making in afternoon camp this week. We had a last minute cancellation today, so there is one spot left in the am and a few left for the pm session. We’re making different projects in each, so it won’t be boring to stay the whole day! Also, if you’re not available the whole week, we’ve had several kids do partial weeks, which works particularly well with these projects! Just send me an email and I can send you an invoice for the number of days you’d like to attend!

We’re doing some hand sewing this week for Christmas in July! We started with embroidery to learn/refresh all the basic stitches. These can be used as ornaments or wall hangings.
