The Michigan City High School Satan Club launched its second year by mixing creativity with compassion and turning face paint into action. Students ran a lunchtime fundraiser and chose to donate the proceeds to a local food pantry in response to potential SNAP benefit cuts.

The event turned heads in the best way possible. Classmates and another group within the school were so impressed that future collaborations are already being discussed. It’s a reminder that when young people lead with empathy and purpose, people take notice.

In a time when empathy feels like rebellion, these students are proving that the Seven Tenets are alive in every act of kindness, curiosity, and critical thinking. With supportive adults backing their vision, these high schoolers are building a future grounded in reason, compassion, and demonstrating what community looks like.
