Beautiful people! It’s that time of year again, another year draws to a close but first the holiday season! Come celebrate with the AGY family for our third installation of the Pandemic Holiday Market.

Started back in Dec 2020 we created Pandemic Market as a way to bring our community together safely after months of quarantine. We also wanted to highlight the Caribbean holiday tradition of market shopping by inviting local vendors to sell their goods, as well as hold a space for folks to exchange before heading home for the end of year break.

We’re back again this year so save the date! Come check us out, hold a vibe, and grab your last minute gifts. We’re doing it big with some of our fave brands, dun know the rum will be plentiful, all in the comfort of our home.

Twenty years. The amount of time Biggs spent in the US before getting deported to Jamaica. Also the amount of time that’s passed since the movie’s release.

Featuring some of our legendary Caribbean artists: Spragga Benz, Louie Rankin, Ky-mani Marley, Wycliffe Jean, Jabba, Paul Campbell. Oh yea and DJ Khaled.

Join us this Saturday at Rise Radio for a screening of the Jamaican classic thriller “Shottas”. Specialty drinks and snacks will be available as well as that discourse we love so much, after the film!

Twenty years ago a classic Jamaican film was unleashed in the streets, Cess Silvera’s “Shottas”. It was an instant hit that was never released in theaters and is arguably the highest selling bootleg dvd of all time!

The film features a number of reggae artists in their younger days as well as the great thespian Louie Rankin. If you haven’t seen this film you are in for a treat! Despite the violence the story tells the tale of two ghetto yutes on the quest for what life has to offer by any means.

Sounds provided by Wifi OG and specialty drinks provided by Chairman’s Reserve.

Everyone loves a t-shirt! It’s the most simple yet versatile article of clothing, after all. Over at Article Ghetto Yutes, we cut our teeth with designing and releasing tee’s that were relevant and recognizable to 1st generation Americans of Caribbean descent. We are very excited to share the process with our community!

We’ve partnered with our screen printer, NY Print Lab to do a live event at Rise Radio. In keeping with our ethos, we’ve also partnered with local brands to promote their work. You will have the option of selecting a design and watching your t-shirt idea come to life right in front of your eyes!

On Sunday, June 26th something spectacular is coming to Nostrand Ave. In collaboration with AKCreative, Article Ghetto Yutes, and Aunts et Uncles we will be launching “The New Cari.com” with our inaugural brunch!

In celebration of Caribbean-American Heritage Month, we will have a live musical performance by & , honoring the legacy of their father, Roots, reggae, and dub pioneer, Augustus Pablo.
