The FOUNDERS’ Letter — Vol. 3

Today the boats come out.
The flags go up. The Sandbars fill. The anchors drop and nobody is in a hurry to pull them back up.
Memorial Day means something different to everyone. For some it’s deeply personal. A name on a wall, an empty chair at the table, a sacrifice that can never be fully repaid.
For all of us it’s a reminder.
That the freedom to do exactly this. To gather on the water, to laugh too loud, to stay past sunset was never free. Someone paid for it.
Many someones. With everything they had.
We don’t take that lightly on the Sandbar.
So today, before the first boat leaves the dock, before the first cooler opens, before the music starts- take just a moment. Say a name.
Feel the weight of it.
And then go live the life they made possible.
Fully. Joyfully. Without apology.
That’s the best way we know how to honor them.

The FOUNDERS’ Letter - Vol. 1
May 11, 2026
I didn’t build this brand in a boardroom.
I built it on the water. In between wave wakes and cold drinks. In between the kind of conversations that only happen when nobody has anywhere to be.
This photo was taken at sunset. Me. Isla. Our daughter. The three of us watching the sky do what it does at the end of a perfect day. Turning every color it knows how to be and then slowly disappear into the water.
Nobody said much. Nobody needed to.
Yesterday was Mother’s Day. And standing there that day watching Isla with our daughter. I was reminded of something important.
The best things in life don’t announce themselves. They just show up quietly. In a sunset. In a laugh. In the way a mother looks at her child when she thinks nobody is watching.
That’s what Sandbar Social Club is built around. Not just the water. The moments the water gives you. The ones you carry forever.
To every mother who celebrated yesterday, we hope your day was as beautiful as you are.

Sunday morning. 🌊
No alarm. No agenda. Just us, the water, and a sunrise that reminded us why we built this brand.
But today isn’t just any Sunday.
Today is Mother’s Day.
I’m adopted. And I say that with nothing but pride and gratitude. Because the woman who chose me, who didn’t have to, who did it anyway;
is the definition of what a mother truly is.
She’s not a water person. Never has been. But she raised one. She raised someone who loves deeply, shows up fully, and never takes a single sunrise for granted.
You don’t have to share blood to share everything that matters.
To my mom, everything I am started with you. Everything I’ve built carries you in it whether you know it or not.
To Isla, grace, strength and love in human form. We celebrate you today and every day.
And to Momma K, the woman Isla chose and who chose her back. Family isn’t always where you start. Sometimes it’s where you land.

To every mother out there; biological, adoptive, chosen. We see You! Happy Mother’s Day. 🌊
