Once a Mother Funder, always a Mother Funder. ❤️
Years ago, people got a glimpse into my life as a Mother Funder on Bravo, the over-the-top mama who would do whatever it took to support my children, fund the things they were passionate about, expose them to opportunities, and make sure they had room to grow, experience life and dream BIG.
And apparently…not much has changed. 😂
My children are grown now, but I’m still that mama.
These days, they call me the Parentger.
I’m still behind the scenes making calls, managing details, spending money 😂, solving problems, creating opportunities and doing whatever I can to help my sons take what’s in their heads and turn it into something real.
Last night’s New Music Showcase was another one of those moments. My son had a vision, and I got to help him bring it to life. And along the way, we created a space where other young artists could share their dreams too.
The difference now is that my sons are grown. I can’t choose their dreams for them, and I can’t want it more than they do. But when my sons decide they’re serious about something, they know exactly who is going to be somewhere in the background figuring out how we can make it happen. 😂
I was that mother then.
I’m still her now.
The kids just grew up, the dreams got bigger, and Mother Funder became Parentger.
