Park #1 from our trip is….Rocky Mountain National Park! We camped in Morraine Campground and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We had easy access to ride e-bikes, as well as venture out on some trails. The best part of camping in the park is avoiding those timed entry passes! They’re often hard to obtain without planning in advance/watching like a hawk. We were fortunate to enjoy nice weather during our stay in the Rockies, and made it to nearly every stop we planned for. Three new videos are on our YouTube channel from the Rockies; and we will soon have a fourth outlining some popular park trails, what we chose to prioritize during our trip, and other information on programs within the park. Be sure to subscribe if you have not already.

Have you been to Rocky Mountain National Park? We would love to hear about your trip! Where did you go? What was your favorite trail? Comment below!

“Just go out and talk to a tree. Make friends with it.” - Bob Ross

June is a great time to get outdoors and make new friends, or just spend time with old friends. Or just trees! Whether you’re hiking, fishing, camping, sweating, exploring history, or just taking a leisurely stroll in nature, there’s something for everyone in a national park!

Remember, a little trip planning can ensure that your time in the great outdoors is fun, safe, and memorable. Before embarking on any outdoor trip, we recommend visiting a park’s website to find out what to see and what to do. Check back often. Flexibility and a backup plan are key, too, in case of changing weather conditions, hours, admission information, road closures, etc.
