When I got this quilt in the mail I had no idea the stars in it were made from layers of folded fabric, almost like little pieces of origami. It made the quilt extremely heavy and quite the challenge to sew but the end result is pretty fantastic! Available now in the Jillie P capsule at 🤩🎉

Pattern placement and cutting…it takes time to move all the pieces around, like a puzzle, to a point where the combination of them will not only look beautiful cut out, but make sense when you sew them together. Throw in a cutting table that is not big enough to fit more than a couple pattern pieces at a time and the process becomes a bit more complex 😂 But this quilt - the puffy flowers make it all worthwhile -it’s such a stunner 😍🙌🏻
