I’ve been wanting to make a butterfly sweater for a while and just couldn’t figure it out, then I realized that the sleeve scraps from my shrugs were the perfect wing shape! Not only that but the inseams that I cut out could be couched on as spirals. It really felt like a magical moment when I made my first one it came to me like an epiphany lol. But really I really am so excited about these they came out of such a pure moment of whimsy and play. I hope you love them as much as I do

Literally so excited about these new butterfly sweaters if you can’t tell! I’ve even made a few more that aren’t in this video, but wow they’re such a fun project because not only are they a great way to use my scraps from my shrugs, but they’re so playful and fun! They really tap me into my inner child 🦋🌀
