If you want an interesting and fun fact walking tour of the city of Lancaster, contact Mike at 717- 575-9631 (information on last photo). Mike grew up in Lancaster and has a passion for this town. The guild had a great breakfast, then an informative walk through the city of Lancaster, on this beautiful sunny day.

Tait's Clock in Limerick City was erected to honour the entrepreneurial spirit of Peter Tait who began the Tait's Clothing Factory in Limerick during the 1850s.
Tait came to Limerick from Lerwick in Scotland in 1838 and worked in drapery. Through his work, he saw an opening for mechanised tailoring. Fortunately, in the USA, Singer had already invented the sewing machine and Tait established the locality’s first ready-made clothing factory. Tait's Factory supplied military uniforms in both the Crimean and American Civil wars.

Only one public clock in Adare, Ireland. Established in 1846, Bill Chawke’s Bar, located in the heart of Adare Village, Co. Limerick is a fine traditional bar with a great reputation for providing some of the best hospitality around.
Notice the antennas, about every house has one. Also with limited space, kegs are lined up outside on sidewalk, I imagine to be picked up. They seem to consume a lot of alcohol in this country.
