Where does the time go? I feel like school just let out for the summer and now the summer is practically over. We are headed back to Oman after a whirlwind trip to the US. To say I'm looking forward to having the kids out of the house all day would be an understatement.⁠

I made this dress on a whim a few months ago and it just didn’t work out as I had intended. When I put it on I was left with the impression that I had worn it before—for Easter in the 1990’s.

I no longer have the closet space to store something I’m never going to wear so I had to make a decision. I’ll save the details of what I did for my later on my sewing account () but I basically took scissors to it and created a new dress I’ll actually wear.

Of course I finished this just in time for the temperature to drop so I’ve been wearing my new sundress with my hand knit Bishops Park. I am kind of digging the way they look together.

The last picture is the dress before I fixed it. See what I mean about the little girl’s Easter dress vibes?
