99% of the time, Iā€™m stitching to a soundtrack ā€” music, podcasts, maybe a little dramatic true crime. But every now and then, I let the sewing sounds do the talking.

A client gave me 2 weeks to create a very specific gift:
an elephantnose fish or āœØGnathonemus petersiiāœØ bag for a friend studying this species in Japan.

I started with the Swim Along Fish Bag pattern by and reworked it to match the details of this fish.

Every custom piece pushes me to problem-solve in new ways, and thatā€™s exactly what keeps this process exciting.

Itā€™s alway bittersweet saying goodbye to fun pieces, but this one will have a fun journey in Japan, č‰Æ恄ꗅ悒
